Air Service to Aspen
There is air service into the Aspen Pitkin County Airport (ASE), conveniently located three miles from the Hotel Aspen. United, American, and Delta airlines offer hundreds of nonstop flights each week, flying directly from nine cities during peak season:
United Airlines: Offering from Denver (DIA), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago-O'Hare (ORD), Houston/Bush (IAH) and San Francisco (SFO).
Delta Airlines: Offering flights from Salt Lake City (SLC), Los Angeles (LAX), Atlanta (ATL) and Minneapolis-St.Paul (MSP).
American Airlines: Offering flights from Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago/O'Hare (ORD) and Dallas-Ft.Worth (DFW). American Airlines now offers daily nonstop flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
Driving to Aspen

From Denver / East:
From Denver, Aspen is 220 miles or approximately 3 1/2 hours West via I-70 to Glenwoood Springs. From there, Aspen is due East on Highway 82. Another scenic route from Denver is I-70 West to 91 South through Leadville to 24 South, then West on Highway 82 over Independence Pass. (Independence Pass is typically open only in summer and is closed early November through May.)
From Grand Junction / West:
Aspen is an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Grand Junction heading east I-70 and connecting with Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs.
From Vail / Eagle Airport:
Aspen is 70 miles, or approximately 1 1/2 hours, from the Vail/Eagle Airport on I-70 heading west and connecting with Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs.
