Situated right on Main Street in downtown Aspen just 3.5 miles from Pitkin County Airport (Aspen's airport), the Molly Gibson Lodge allows you the freedom to experience shopping, fine dining and the wonderful sites and sounds of Aspen, Colorado.

There is no need for a car to drive back and forth from the airport- we have a complimentary shuttle in season that can take you to and from the Aspen Pitkin County Airport during our scheduled Front Desk hours. Air Service to Aspen

There is air service into the Aspen Pitkin County Airport (ASE), conveniently located three miles from the Hotel Aspen. United, American, and Delta airlines offer hundreds of nonstop flights each week, flying directly from nine cities during peak season:

United Airlines: Offering from Denver (DIA), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago-O'Hare (ORD), Houston/Bush (IAH) and San Francisco (SFO).

Delta Airlines: Offering flights from Salt Lake City (SLC), Los Angeles (LAX), Atlanta (ATL) and Minneapolis-St.Paul (MSP).

American Airlines: Offering flights from Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago/O'Hare (ORD) and Dallas-Ft.Worth (DFW). American Airlines will offer new daily nonstop flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) starting in the Winter 2017-2018 season.

Driving to Aspen

If you're driving from Grand Junction, Eagle, or Denver airports, or driving across the country on a family vacation by car, getting to here is the most important part. Bring the whole family - we're pet friendly - by car and receive a free parking pass for your car during your stay.

From Denver / East:
From Denver, Aspen is 220 miles or approximately 3 1/2 hours West via I-70 to Glenwoood Springs. From there, Aspen is due East on Highway 82. Another scenic route from Denver is I-70 West to 91 South through Leadville to 24 South, then West on Highway 82 over Independence Pass. (Independence Pass is typically open only in summer and is closed early November through May.)

From Grand Junction / West:
Aspen is an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Grand Junction heading east I-70 and connecting with Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs.

From Vail / Eagle Airport:
Aspen is 70 miles, or approximately 1 1/2 hours, from the Vail/Eagle Airport on I-70 heading west and connecting with Highway 82 in Glenwood Springs.
