With the close proximity of all mountains, you can easily spend every day of your snow vacation at a different mountain. Which mountain will become your favorite? Share stories about your favorite Power of Four mountain during the Molly Gibson Lodge daily complimentary Après ski, while enjoying the fireplace, a glass of wine and some nosh.  Aspen Mountain, Aspen, Winter in Aspen, Skiing in Aspen

Aspen Mountain is right in the town of Aspen. Stroll from Molly Gibson Lodge to the base of Aspen Mountain, or have the Hotel shuttle drive you to the slopes. Skiers and snowboarders can shred through bumps, steeps and trees on Aspen Mountain which is 52% most difficult and expert terrain. When it's time for après, at the base of Aspen Mountain is Ajax Tavern, the place to see and be seen in your ski gear.

Buttermilk Mountain is a few miles from Molly Gibson Lodge. Drive yourself, take the Hotel shuttle or RFTA bus to this ski area which has played host to the ESPN Winter X Games for over a decade.  35% of the terrain is Easiest, with a majority of the ski runs being greens and blues. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities will have fun at Buttermilk Mountain.

Aspen Highlands is for those who are looking for a more extreme day on the mountain with steeps and a back country experience without the risks of hiking the back country. Another secret of the Highlands is the view of Maroon Bells. After charging hard on Aspen Highlands, be sure you've made a reservation at Cloud Nine for a satisfying European style leisurely lunch. And when we say European style leisurely lunch, imagine, fondue, raclette, wild game, cheeses, wines, beers for a relaxing lunch. Don't expect to eat and run, er ski, take your time with this dining experience.

The fourth mountain of the Power of Four is Snowmass. Snowmass is the furthest mountain from the town of Aspen, yet has a lot to offer. Snowmass is not only a ski mountain with a variation of terrain, but it is also an energetic village of restaurants and shops. Snowmass has one of the best off piste ski areas in the country, The Cirque. The Cirque is a bowl that takes some time getting to which includes a ride on a poma. Be sure you are confident in your skiing ability, you may come through the glades and end up at a cliff. This is extreme skiing at its best! Another memorable event at Snowmass every Friday night is Ullr Nights. Imagine ice skating, s'mores, tubing and all sorts of winter fun on Snowmass.
